Our Role
Coletti & Co. is an independent records-reconstruction and documentation-analysis firm. We work with a defined source universe of records that is lawfully supplied, uploaded, connected, or otherwise expressly authorized by the client.
Our work may organize, normalize, compare, reconcile, chronologize, reconstruct, and explain record-supported facts, inconsistencies, missing documentation, process deviations, patterns, unresolved questions, client assertions, and attributed third-party conclusions.
What We Do Not Determine
We do not independently investigate individuals or determine fraud, theft, negligence, breach, concealment, guilt, liability, witness credibility, motive, intent, legal causation, legal effect, accounting effect, tax effect, valuation effect, or another protected professional conclusion. We are not a law firm, private investigative agency, CPA firm, or other licensed professional practice unless a particular service is expressly identified as being provided through an appropriately licensed professional.
Controlling Principle
Coletti & Co. can determine the condition of the records; it cannot independently determine the protected professional effect of that condition.
When protected professional interpretation or investigation beyond the authorized source universe is required, the relevant record is prepared for referral or handoff to the appropriate qualified professional.
Source Boundary
The standard service begins with client-supplied or client-authorized records. Administrative retrieval may occur only when lawful and authorized. Surveillance, pretexting, covert collection, witness interviews as investigators, skip tracing, background investigations, hidden-asset searches, unauthorized account access, and independent evidence development are outside the standard service model unless separately licensed and cleared.
